Day 14: Winthrop, WA

~ Just the Facts ~
Camping:  Pine Near RV Park, Winthrop, WA

We drove out of North Cascade National Park and saw some of the prettiest views imaginable.  These are some beautiful mountains.  We also drove an incredible grade that made us glad we were doing it going east instead of going west!  Yikes it was steep.

We rolled along some beautiful countryside and ended up in the town of Winthrop, WA.  It's a cute town that has saved itself by becoming a tourist town.  All the original buildings house shops and restaurants.  There's a great atmosphere in the town.  We had lunch and walked around downtown shopping.  Greg and Gage bought new hats!

We liked it so much that we decided to stay the night.  We checked into the very nice Pine Near RV Park and turned on the AC.  Great spot.
